Hamburger Kunsthalle, Hamburg
curated by Frank Barth and Dirck Moellmann
Charles Manson would apply a religious archetype, the one of Jesus Christ when he built up his personal mythology. He showed up a stereotype the others easily perceived and reacted to. In my performance I appear to the public as somewhat a Prophet hardly associated to any exact religion or cult, but still recognizable...
Space was in semidarkness. I appeared on stage half-naked. My face has been disguised as if I were a man with a natural black beard, which paradoxically followed a female body nude.
During the following fifteen minutes I have been staring at the public in front of me in silence, significantly. In the end, I raised up my hands giving a blessing to everyone attending. After that, I jumped down from the stage like a rock star.
